Frequently asked questions
- What dates do you open and close?
We are open from March 1st until October
31st
- Can I pick my pitch?
Yes, as long as someone else hasn't already
requested the pitch. If we are unable to get you on the exact
number you wanted we will always try to get you as close as
possible. However please note that sometimes due to weather
problems or other unforeseen circumstances your pitch may need to
be changed at short notice.
- Are the pitches level?
Yes, our site is completely level, as is the
rest of Selsey.
- Do you have disabled facilities?
Yes, we have purpose made disabled facilities
including a toilet and shower. In order to access these facilities
you will need to bring your RADAR key with you.
- Can we put up our pup tent/toilet tent/gazebo?
Generally speaking none of the above would be
allowed on site however during quieter periods it may be possible,
please ask at time of booking.
- Do you allow barbecues?
Yes, however we ask that you keep them raised
off of the ground to prevent the grass burning and that you dispose
of them appropriately once used.
- Do you allow dogs on site?
Yes dogs are allowed on site, however they
must be kept on a lead at all times. There is also an additional
charge for dogs of £3 per night per dog.
- Do you accept groups of young people?
No, we do not accept large single sex groups
or groups of young people. Warner Farm is primarily a family
holiday park. If you are unsure whether or not your party would be
allowed to stay then please call us.
- I am travelling via public transport. How do I get to
you?
The nearest train station to us is
Chichester. From Chichester you would need to get the Number 51
(Link) service to Selsey. If you get off of the bus stops opposite
the Police Station in Chichester Road, you can then walk through
into Green Lawns Caravan Park and get onto the shuttle bus to
us.
- How far is my pitch from the Entertainment Facilities?
All of our pitches are situated at Warner
Farm Touring Park, which is about a 10-minute walk from West Sands
Holiday Village entertainment venue. White Horse Holiday Village is
slightly further and would take about 15 minutes and The Viking
Centre at Green Lawns Holiday Village is about a 20 minute walk.
However there is also a shuttle bus you can use which only takes a
couple of minutes and there is ample parking at all of the venues
should you wish to drive.
- Can I book online for the Touring Park?
No, we currently only accept bookings over
the phone. Alternatively you can come into our office and book in
person. (This must be done prior to arrival; we do not accept
bookings on arrival during peak times.)
- I don't own a credit or debit card. How else can I pay?
We accept payment via postal orders or cheque
as long as you are booking at least 28 days prior to arrival. You
are also able to book and pay in person at Reception, however this
must also be done prior to arrival. During peak times we do not
accept people whom have not already booked.
- Is there a payphone on site?
Yes, we have a payphone situated near
reception, which accepts coins and debit cards.
- Is there a Shop on site?
Yes, within the Reception building is a small
convenience store selling all of your basic goods plus a range of
toys and gifts.
- What time is the Reception building open?
The Reception and Shop are open from 9am
every day, however we do not accept any arrivals until 10am.
Closing times vary throughout the season so please ask at time of
booking.
- What is there to do in the local area?
For more information regarding activities and
tourist attractions in our local area please see:
http://www.warnerfarm.co.uk/local-attractions.aspx
- I need to cancel my holiday. Can I have my money
back?
It would depend on why you were canceling and
whether or not you had taken out cancellation protection at time of
booking. Cancellation protection costs an extra £10 and covers your
party for illness only. If you wish to cancel you must call the
reception before midday on the day you are due to
arrive.
- If it rains can I get a refund?
No. Even if you have taken out cancellation
protection, it will NOT cover you for anything other than
illness.
